Bank Overdraft Fees and Available Funds
Complaints concerning bank overdraft fees are the number one complaint received by the Warner Law Office. Consumers are particularly troubled by the apparent procedure of some banks that show present day deposits in the available funds during the day but remove them from the customer's balance during processing at night and process the debits before the present day deposits are added back into the balance. This can result in overdraft fees because consumers were lead to believe that the funds were available for their use when in fact they were not available.
